Thus by the side of _skip-stj??rn_ (ship-steering) we find
_skips-brot_ (ship's breaking, shipwreck), _skipa-h?™rr_ (army of
ships, fleet). Genitival composition often expresses possession,
as in _konungs-skip_ (king's ship).
